Williamnagar MLA and Chairman of the District Planning and Development Council of East Garo Hills, Marcuise N Marak, presided over a meeting convened to approve the draft annual plan of development departments for 2020-21 at Williamnagar Circuit House today. Rongjeng MLA Jim A Sangma was also present.
In the meeting Deputy Commissioner Swapnik Tembe highlighted key performance indicators for the East Garo Hills Vision 2025 plan.
While highlighting the problems of the district, the DC also apprised the Marak for the need for a waste disposal facility for the meat and fish markets in and around Williamnagar.
