Shillong, Feb 5: Security personnel at Ward’s Lake here apprehended a man carrying nearly 2.5kg of cannabis in a bag as he was trying to enter the premises of the popular tourist spot.
The man was identified as Henjakapa (25) of Kolasib district in Mizoram. Police took him into custody and have initiated legal proceedings against him.
The cannabis weighed 2.479kg, according to police.
