An unconscious and unidentified person was found near the foot bridge at Dhankheti here on October 24, but he was declared dead during treatment the Shillong Civil Hospital on November 2, police said today.
East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police, Sylvester Nongtnger said that the man aged about 50 years was wearing a grey woollen sweater polo neck and adult diaper. He has a tattoo on his left arm.
Inquest and other legal formalities were completed and the unidentified man was kept at the Shillong Civil Hospital morgue for identification and claim.
