A man died after he was struck by lightning at Teksagre village under Dadenggre Civil Sub Division in West Garo Hills.
Riksal Sangma, of Cherangre village had gone to Teksagre along with his wife to visit his sister in law at about 12 pm yesterday.
However, during at around 5: 30 pm, while the two sisters were in the kitchen, Riksal was struck by lightning and died on the spot.
