The main suspect in connection with the two incidents of pre-poll violence reported from areas under Phulbari Assembly Constituency in Garo Hills region has been placed under preventive detention till March 3.
Chief Electoral Officer, FR Kharkongor today said a total of 47 persons have been arrested and 142 persons bound down by the court.
