Shillong, Apr 6: Renowned musician and cultural icon Lou Majaw gifted an electric keyboard to Dakameai Lyngdoh Marbaniang, a talented young musician from Smit village, who is navigating life without sight since birth, to encourage her passion for music.
Dakameai, currently staying at Bethany Society, a haven for persons with disabilities, has shown remarkable talent and love for keyboard.
The Lou Majaw Foundation said the gift will surely amplify her musical dreams. He consistently supported aspiring artists, gifting guitars to nurture talent and spread joy through music – a testament to his passion for empowering young musicians, a statement said.
