Metallica-Sargam Sports & Cultural Club, in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Shillong, organized Saheed Diwas (Martyrs’ Day) on the theme “Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsab” to celebrate India’s 75 years of independence on Wednesday at RB Anupchand Hindi Secondary School, Shillong.
On the occasion, a drawing competition and patriotic poem recitation on freedom fighters and martyrs were organised, with 27 taking part in the event.
