Jowai MLA Wailamiki Shylla inaugurated the Silver Jubilee celebration of the Lion Sports and Youth Affair, Jowai in Mission Compound today.
Speaking on the occasion Shylla congratulated the leaders, youth and members of the Lion Club Mission and said that a society develops when there is understanding and cooperation among the residents of the locality and involvement of the youth.
He stressed on the importance of sports and youth affairs and motivated the youths to bring up the youths from one’s own locality.
The organisation was formed in 1996 with an aim to nurture youth by providing personality development skills.
