Shillong Lajong FC will begin their home campaign against Neroca FC at the SSA Stadium First Ground in Polo here tomorrow at 2 pm.
Lajong started their I-League campaign with a draw against Mohammedan SC in the last match at Naihati Bankimanjali Stadium, West Bengal.
After a four year gap, now they will be playing again in their home ground with the passionate fans behind their back.
During the pre-match press conference held earlier today coach Bobby L. Nongbet is positive going into this huge game.
“Even though Neroca’s recent form has not been great Lajong are not going to take them lightly considering the fact that they are an experienced team and have been in the I-League for many seasons now,” Nongbet said.
It will be an exciting encounter as both teams will be battling it out for all three points in this huge North-East Derby.
