Members of the Khasi Student’s Union (KSU), Jowai circle today put the toll plaza at Pasyih Ialong under lock and key after the NHAI did not respond to their demands.
The group had demanded installation of street lights, repair of the national highway 6 and construction of footpaths.
Circle president Ioannis Suchiang said that the KSU had written to the NHAI since September 23, 2021.
