The Khasi Students Union (KSU) has constituted its unit in East Jaiñtia Hills district with Streamly S Suchen as the president.
The student’s body in the past had only the KSU Jaiñtia Hills Unit for both the districts.
Other representatives of the unit are Satly Ryngkhlem as vice president, Kwilnis Suchiang general secretary and others.
The confirmation ceremony held today was attended by KSU central president Lambokstar Marngar, Khliehriat MLA Kyrmen Shylla, JHADC Deputy CEM Lasky Rymbai, Khliehriat MDC Finelyness Bareh, leaders of different pressure groups and others.
