The youth wing of the National People’s Party (NPP), the National People’s Youth Front (NPYF), Umsning Block, today welcomed Anglestar Khonghat as it’s newly appointed President.
Khonghat’s appointment aims to strengthen the party’s operations and influence within the Umsning constituency.
In a ceremony held at Sohkyndur village, NPYF President Kitbor Nongrem formally announced Khonghat to lead the youth wing and further the NPYF’s mission within Umsning.
Jayson S Mawlong, President of NPP Umsning constituency, Pyndaplang Wahlang, President of NPYF Ri Bhoi district and Macdalyne S Mawlong, Working President of the State Women’s Wing and MDC were present on the occasion.
They emphasized that the NPYF should work selflessly for the benefit of all young people in the region, without discrimination or partiality.
