Kayleigh Petra Nongkynrih, the assistant secretary of the Meghalaya Sport Climbing and Mountaineering Association (MeSCMA), has been selected as a judge for the IFSC Asian Youth Climbing Championship 2024, which began today.
The announcement was made by MeSCMA president Malviancy Shabong today. Nongkynrih, of Upper Lumparing, was selected by the Indian Mountaineering Foundation as a member of the panel of judges for the championship, which will run until November 17 in Jamshedpur.
A total of 13 countries are participating in this championship, with 31 climbers from India.
