The VMC Laban Puja Committee celebrated 38 years of Kali Puja from October 24 to 26 at the Laban police station premises.
The first day saw a Shyama Sangeet performed followed by a folk night by KINFOLK. Yesterday, more than 2,000 devotees took Prasad after the puja ended, while an Aarati competition was held in the evening followed by prize distribution ceremony of all events held during the puja, a press release from the Vivekananda Memorial Club informed today.
Today immersion of the idols was held in the afternoon and the festivities concluded with a musical evening. The club thanked local MLA Sanbor Shullai, Dorbar Shnong, police, district administration and the public for supporting the festival.
