: Sarot I man, a social group in Jaiñtia Hills today felicitated journalists of the district as they observe the World Press Freedom Day in Yadalada Villa, Kdohhati Dulong Jowai.
The organisation commended the fourth estate for doing a great job in holding the mirror to the society and acknowledged that media persons have made contributions to the society and have continued to do so at great costs.
Riquoma RQ Laloo, a member of the organisation said the felicitation programme is aimed at inspiring journalists of Jaiñtia Hills to strive for the betterment of the society.
All members of the Jaiñtia Journalists Association (JJA) were also present on the occasion.
