An employee at the State Bank of India’s Jorabat branch in Ri-Bhoi has tested positive for Covid-19, the District Magistrate informed today.
The branch has been declared a containment zone as a result.
All persons who have visited the branch since September 25 have been advised to undergo home quarantine for 10 days while maintaining the other Covid-19 health protocols. If they develop symptoms, like fever, cough or difficulty in breathing, they should call the District Control Room on 036382 32028/1077 or the helpline number 8797520449.
