Shillong, Mar 12: The 48th annual meeting of the Indian Biophysical Society (IBS 2026) along with the International Conference on Biomolecular Dynamics, will be held at North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) here from March 13 to 15.
The conference will bring together leading scientists, researchers, academics and students from across India and abroad to discuss recent advances in molecular biophysics, structural biology, biomolecular dynamics and computational biology.
The event will feature international and national speakers, including Prof Takayuki Nishizaka, president of the Asian Biophysics Association, along with several distinguished scientists who are leaders in their respective fields. Their participation will provide valuable insights into the latest developments in biomolecular research and emerging biophysical techniques, a press release stated today.
The conference will include keynote lectures, invited talks, oral presentations, and poster sessions, offering a platform for scientific exchange and collaboration among researchers and young scientists. IBS 2026 aims to highlight cutting-edge research on biomolecular structure and dynamics, intrinsically disordered proteins, biomolecular condensates and advanced experimental and computational approaches in biophysics.
