Shillong, Feb 23: The five-day Inter State Youth Exchange Program (ISYEP) concluded here today for the 37 youth from Mizoram.
The programme was held from February 19 to 23 and was organised by MY Bharat, a central government initiative, supported by Meghalaya’s Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs. Of the Mizoram contingent 24 were female and 13 male.
A valedictory function was held today with certificates and mementoes for the participants. Over the course of the five days, the participants were introduced to the rich history, culture, languages, customs and food habits of Meghalaya through presentations by various resource persons and visited historical and important sites in and around Shillong.
