A one day training session on integrated farming was held yesterday at Liarkhla village in Ri-Bhoi.
The session focused on livestock integration and was conducted by the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Ri-Bhoi.
The event saw the participation of 27 farmers, featured practical workshops, demonstrations and expert talks aimed at enhancing farm productivity and sustainability.
The training highlighted the benefits of integrating livestock such as chickens, ducks, pigs and fish with traditional farming practices to improve soil health and generate additional income.
