Shillong, Sep 25: n its continued drive against illicit liquor, the Excise staff of East Khasi Hills District conducted raids in the restaurants, stalls in Shillong city and its outskirts where during the month of July, 2025 detected eight cases with a seizure of 275.000 litres of illicit liquor and 19.280 litres IMFL. In this connection three persons have been arrested under the Excise Act.
