IIM Shillong organised a seven-day management development programme for the Arunachal Pradesh Civil Services officers at its Umsawli campus.
The training module was initiated through an agreement signed between the Arunachal government and IIM Shillong in July.
The session was inaugurated by Ranjan Chatterjee, former Chief Secretary of Meghalaya on August 26.
Fifty-two probationary officers with a strong academic background attended the week-long immersive session. The training module on capacity building was designed to enhance the managerial skills of the officers so that they can adapt and implement the responsibilities expected from civil servant officers.
Speakers included IIM Shillong director DP Goyal, former Secretary in the Union Textiles Ministry Sanjay K Panda, Commissioner and Secretary in the state Tourism Department Vijay Kumar D and Chief Secretary of Meghalaya MS Rao.
Rao gave the valedictory address at the closing function on Wednesday.
