The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI), Meghalaya held its 4th Convocation in its Tura campus today.
A total number of 544 graduates received their degrees, out of which six students received the General Proficiency Awards, 15 students received Gold Medals for securing the First Position and 18 students the Silver Medals for securing the Second Position.
Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma who attended the ceremony as the chief guest congratulated the students on their achievements and wished them the best in their future endeavours.
ICFAI Chancellor Lt. General (Dr) Arvinder Singh Lambha in his speech exhorted the graduands to reach greater heights of glory by being curious of seeking new knowledge and by maximizing their strength and abilities.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Alicia Gatphoh put on record the gratitude the university acknowledges and highlighted the works and achievements of the university in rendering quality education to the students of Meghalaya in particular and the other states and international students.
