Amid the continuing Covid-19 pandemic, the Dorbar Shnong of Mawlangwir in collaboration with the Hynñiewtrep Youths Council (HYC) today sanitised the locality.
The Rangbah Shnong, NS Wanniang, informed that the sanitisation was also carried out at the quarantine centres at Madan Saitsnad and Mawlangwir Higher Secondary School, including the households that were affected by Covid-19.
On the same day, the HYC South West Khasi Hills unit and Mawlangwir unit donated essential commodities to families that have been adversely affected by the lockdown.
