The Hill State People’s Democratic Party (HSPDP) has named four candidates for the upcoming February 27 Assembly elections.
The party won two seats in 2018 but has seen both those MLAs – Mawkyrwat’s Renikton Lyngdoh Tongkhar and Sohiong’s Samlin Malngiang – have recently defected to other parties.
The HSPDP named seven candidates in its first list on January 11.
Today’s names include the veteran Martle Mukhim for Mawkynrew, Wyraiwan Sohtun for Mawryngkneng, Sandondor Ryntathiang for Sohiong and Starfing Pdahksiej for Mawsynram.
