President of the Hynñiewtrep National Youth Front and spokesperson of the Coordination Committee on International Border GH Kharshanlor passed away today. He as 45.
Meanwhile, the Khasi Students Union and the Federation of Khasi Jaiñtia and Garo people has condoled the demise of Kharshanlor.
Former president of the Civil Society Women’s Organisation Irene Hujon also passed away on Thursday.
Chief Minister Conrad Sangma also condoled Hujon’s demise. “Saddened to learn about the untimely demise of #Meghalaya’s noted Social Activist, Smti. Irene Hujon. My deepest condolences to the bereaved family and loved ones. May her soul rest in eternal peace.”
