With police still having not made a breakthrough in the brutal assault and murder in Golf Links on March 21, Home Minister Lahkmen Rymbui has appealed to the public for any information that could help the authorities nab those responsible.
Pherlangroi Myrthong (20) succumbed to his injuries at NEIGRIHMS on Sunday, a week after he and some of his friends were assaulted in the Golf Links area.
Rymbui today informed that the police are still investigating but there have been no breakthroughs. He requested the public to come forward if they have any knowledge concerning the incident.
“We all condemned the Golf Links incident because no one has the right to hurt and take people’s lives,” Rymbui told reporters. “I have directed the Police Department to take all steps necessary, whether it’s patrolling, installation of CCTVs, etc,” he maintained.
