Chief Justice of the High Court of Meghalaya, Justice Biswanath Somadder, launched a mobile app to streamline access of live data from the case information system for the benefit of lawyers, litigants and the public here today.
Justice Somadder was joined by Justice RV More, Justice HS Thangkhiew, Justice W Diengdoh and others at the launch.
The app is aimed at providing easy access to justice and a step forward in reaching the doorstep of the public.
There are several modules available on the app, including case list, display board, cases status, judgements and orders. The app is available both for iPhones and Android phones.
