The Anti Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) seized drugs and cash from an alleged drug supplier at Nongstoiñ in West Khasi Hills district last night.
A soap box equivalent to around 10 grams of suspected heroin together with Rs 2.5 lakh cash was seized from the suspect drug dealer identified as Arbinus Lyngdoh Marshillong (24).
Police said a night operation was carried out at around 11:30 pm after the team had kept a close watch for about 24 hours.
Marshillong is suspected to be a main drug supplier in Themiew area, police said.
A case has been registered and the accused is being interrogated to develop more clues into the operation.
