The Garoland State Movement Committee (GSMC) has highlighted further cases of students allegedly missing out on their SSLC or HSSLC examinations because of negligence on the part of school staff.
On Friday the group claimed that 15 students from Rengsinpara Secondary School had missed out on their SSLC papers because the school did not issue them with admit cards for the exams, which began on Thursday.
Today, the GSMC Pedaldoba and Bajengdoba units said that two students of Bajengdoba Higher Secondary School cannot attempt their exams due to “lapsed” admit cards and a “goof-up” by the principal.
The parents of the two students said that they had filled up the forms for the admit cards for the final exam and had paid for them but their children were not issued with the admit cards.
A similar case was reported by another student from Bangsi Apal Secondary School in Dainadubi.
The GSMC condemned the “negligence” of the principals of the aforementioned schools and called for legal action against them.
