In view of the prevailing situation concerning Covid-19 in the district, West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner, Ram Singh, had passed an order thereby allowing some of the State Govt. departments to function with full strength.
According to the order, the Deputy Commissioner’s Amalgamated Establishment, Health and Family Welfare, Police, Food & Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Treasury Office, Information and Public Relations, Election, PWD, PHE and all the Essential Services departments will now function with 100 percent strength.
The Central Govt. offices, banks, post offices and other departments are allowed to function with 50 percent strength, the order said.
The order also advised all the heads of offices and staff to strictly follow the Covid-19 protocols issued by the Health and Family Welfare department and to get themselves vaccinated.
