The state government has invited members of the public to go through the recently announced Mental Health and Social Care Policy and give their comments and suggestions.
On Monday, the government announced the draft policy, which aims to promote overall mental health and well-being and facilitate appropriate access and care pathways for common and severe mental health concerns.
The draft policy is available to the general public and can be accessed on meghealth.gov.in/documents.html and nhmmeghalaya.nic.in/programmes/NMHP/nmhp.html for a period of 15 days.
The draft policy has been put up in the public domain for the information of all, and also to fill some key missing elements within the policy document.
Comments/suggestions on the draft policy can be submitted by visiting https://forms.gle/7cWNjBZpTywnVHus9. Feedback should indicate the page number of the policy or the section relevant to the comment or suggestion.
Comments may also be emailed to healthdeptt502@gmail.com. The last date of submitting these is October 24, 2022.
