The Meghalaya government has promised that a school building at the RMSA Higher Secondary School in Aruakgre village of North Garo Hills will be completed by the end of next month.
The construction of the RMSA HSS in Aruakgre was approved with a unit cost of Rs 97.04 lakh. The project is in the final stage and will be completed by July, a press release from the Director of School Education said today.
“The recent completion of the PMGSY road near Gokol has significantly improved the connectivity to Aruakgre,” the release added.
The project, implemented by the District School Education Officer (DSEO) and District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), will address the current space constraints and provide a more suitable environment for students and teachers, significantly enhancing the quality of education, the Director said.
