The State government has effected a reshuffle in the police department.
Rituraj Ravi who is currently the Superintendent of Police, South West Garo Hills District, is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, South Garo Hills District. He replaces Priyanshu Pandey.
Pandey the current Superintendent of Police, South Garo Hills District, is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police (VIS), Shillong against the existing vacancy.
Siddharth Kumar Ambedkar, Superintendent of Police (Traffic), East Khasi Hills, Shillong is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, South West Garo Hills District. He replaces Rituraj Ravi.
Deepak Kumar Palecha, Superintendent of Police, East Jaiñtia Hills District, Khliehriat is transferred and posted as Assistant lnspector General of Police(L&O), Meghalaya, Shillong against the existing vacancy.
Palecha will be replaced by Jagpal Singh Dhanoa, who is currently the Additional Superintendent of Police, SF -10, Shillong.
