Shillong, Aug 7: The State government has notified creation of a new police station at Umtyngar in East Khasi Hills.
With the creation of the Umtyngar PS, areas coming under its jurisdiction shall cease to be under Sohra Police Station.
Boundaries of the Umtyngar Police Station are Mawngap Outpost in the North, Madanrting Police Station in the East, Pynursla Police Station in the South and Sohra Police Station in the West.
