Shillong, Sep 22: The Additional Deputy Commissioner of Pynursla Sub-Division has informed that movement of goods/boulder trucks will remain restricted from Lad Umsyiem to Dawki until restoration work is completed.
The office has urged transporters and commuters to follow the restriction.
Restriction of heavy vehicle movement along the Shillong-Dawki road was imposed following a landslide near the popular boating point in Dawki, causing nearly half the width of the road to collapse into the Umngot River.
