Containment orders have been issued by the Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills district to fight the spread of Covid-19.
Four residential complexes were declared as micro-containment areas and the entire building and campus of Eee Vee Nora Girls Hostel, Mawlyndop, Mawlai Mawroh has been declared as macro-containment area because of positive coronavirus cases detected there.
No person shall be allowed to move in the containment area and inhabitants within the containment area shall not move out and they shall strictly remain inside their homes.
The Incident Commander, Zone-VII, Shillong shall supervise and monitor strict compliance of the order.
