Employees of the GHADC, through a circular today by the Principal Secretary, have been asked to report for duty from tomorrow, failing which they will be docked salary.
The circular comes in the wake of the NGEA calling a strike in the GHADC over their demands of revocation of suspension of NGEA members, the cancellation of its president’s expulsion as well as the payment of their salaries in the Fifth Pay Commission scale. The protest for the demand continued even today.
Through the circular issued today, employees of the office have been asked to attend office and sign the attendance register. Casual employees and muster roll workers too have been asked to join the office without fail.
Meanwhile the NGEA has accused police authorities of removing the posters that had been put up by them during the protest. The removal apparently took place during a rain shower this afternoon.
