The Pedaldoba regional unit of the Garoland State Movement Committee (GSMC) has accused the CEM of the GHADC and their local MLA-MDC, Benedict Marak, of ignoring them when they recently went to meet him to discuss issues concerning the constituency.
According to GSMC chairman Rimjen Sangma, he and the GSU western zone general secretary Tengroang Marak went to the GHADC to meet with Benedict but were rebuffed.
“When we entered his chamber, after taking permission from his personal secretary, he immediately, upon seeing us, said he did not have time to discuss and threw us out of the chamber,” said Rimjen. “He couldn’t care less for us. If he does not have time for the people of his constituency and has bigger fish to fry, he should explain the same to us through a press release.”
The CEM did not respond on the matter when contacted.
