Villagers of Gambegre in West Garo Hills district held a meeting to demand improvement of roads in the area.
The meeting was led by Gambegre Area Development Society which was attended by nokmas, laskers, prominent residents from around the village and members of the Garoland State Movement Committee and Achik Youth Welfare Organisation.
Besides the demand for improvement of roads under Gambegre block the meeting also resolved to seek speedy repair of the Tura to Purakhasia road, Dadenggre to Mellin PMGSY road from the government.
