A row has blown up in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) youth wing, known as the Yuva Morcha (BJYM), after the President, Krison Langstang, condemned comments made by the organisation’s Vice-President.
Yesterday, the VP, Wallambok Khongwir attacked the BJP state unit’s General Secretary Dipayan Chakraborty for the latter’s comments to a local newspaper.
As part of the attack, Khongwir threatened to launch a move to unseat the state unit’s leadership.
This statement then led Langstang to condemn Khongwir. He further stated that the comments made by the organisation’s VP were purely personal and did not reflect the views of the BJYM.
