Shillong, Feb 14: The Central government has nominated four Meghalaya Civil Service (MCS) officers to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS).
As per the notification issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, MCS officers Aitinolin L. Mawlong, Rikse R. Marak, Mary Sonty N. Marak, and Ibashisha Mawlong have been appointed into the IAS.
The newly appointed officers will be on probation until further orders and have been allocated to the Assam-Meghalaya Joint Cadre.
