Shillong, Sep 16: Former Lok Sabha member of Outer Manipur Dr Lorho S Pfoze has formally joined the National People’s Party (NPP).
The announcement was made by NPP National President Conrad K. Sangma at a function held at the party headquarters in Shillong.
Sangma welcomed Pfoze and said that his experience in public life will further strengthen the party in championing the cause of the North East and its people. He expressed confidence that Dr. Lorho will be an asset to the party and work closely to further the NPP’s mantra of “One Voice, One North East”.
Pfoze in his address expressed gratitude to the party leadership and emphasised that the NPP should become the party for everyone in the North East, including indigenous people and tribal communities.
