The National People’s Party welcomed its latest high profile new member, former two-time MLA for the Congress, Nehlang Lyngdoh.
Party president and Chief Minister, Conrad Sangma, announced at a function here today that Lyngdoh will be the NPP candidate for Khliehriat at next year’s state elections.
Sangma welcomed Lyngdoh, who served two terms in the Assembly until 2008, and other new NPP members from Jaintia Hills.
