After a gap of four years, the FKJGP (Federation of Khasi, Jaintia and Garo People) – Garo Hills Zone has reconstituted the defunct Selsella circle in West Garo Hills.
Announcing the development, the General Secretary of the FKJGP – Garo Hills, Raksrang Sangma, said that the new unit will be led by Anthony Ch Sangma as President.
The new unit members will include Salseng K Marak as Vice-President, Lostone A Sangma and Artrish Ch Marak as Assistant General Secretaries, Franzing Ch Marak as Chief Organizer, Phanuel N Marak as Sports Secretary, Walish Ch Sangma as Cultural Secretary and Nonseng B Marak as Education Secretary.
The team will also have another 10 executive members and was formed in the presence of Raksrang and Murphy Shira, Vice-President of the FKGJP – Garo Hills.
“They have pledged to work on the various issues plaguing the area and for the development of the region,” said Raksrang.
