Farm-related equipment and other inputs were handed over at a ceremony yesterday organised by Suvidha Foundation with the support of HDFC Bank.
The items distributed at Patharkhmah included biofertilizer, knapsack sprayers and decomposers, which were paid for through HDFC’s corporate social responsibility scheme, ‘Parivartan’.
Suvidha also distributed litchi and coconut saplings to farmers for orchard development. This project is running in 20 villages under Jirang block.
