The Hill Farmers Union (HFU) today announced that Meghalaya Farmer’s Day will be observed on December 4.
The programme will be held at the State Convention Centre here, with Agriculture Minister Banteidor Lyngdoh as the chief guest. The programme will also be observed in several other districts of the state.
The programme will also see the presentation by the officials of the Meghalaya Empowerment Commission on various products and face-to-face interactions and discussions on the problems faced by the agricultural community.
