The Border Security Force (BSF) today seized fake Indian currency notes of the face value of Rs 47,000 in Rs 500 denomination from South West Khasi Hills district and arrested two persons.
“The fake notes were being carried by Biswajit Paul and Marmush Marak, both residents of South West Khasi Hills and reported to be of high grade probably printed in Pakistan,” the BSF said in a press release.
