Former Additional Director General of Meghalaya police (ADGP), Heimonlang Nongpluh has been appointed Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) of Meghalaya.
A notification of his appointment was issued on November 29, 2021.
Nongpluh, a former Indian Police Service (IPS) officer, had retired from service on yesterday.
Nongpluh became the first retired IPS officer to be appointed as Meghalaya’s CIC.
