Chief Minister Conrad Sangma today launched the eProposal System, which is intended to ensure an easier process in getting official sanction for projects at the grassroots level.
Sangma said that delivery mechanisms will improve, while time waiting for projects to get the go ahead will reduce and efficiency increase.
“The challenge now will be to get everyone on board and provide training at all levels, which will happen in the next two to three months,” the CM said, adding that the eProposal System is a great milestone in governance and one that will really make a difference.
The launch was also attended by Additional Chief Secretary DP Wahlang, Principal Secretary Shakil P Ahammed, Commissioner and Secretary Vijay Kumar besides officers from NIC, Finance and Planning Departments in person and online.
