In view of the upcoming Assam Assembly election, the Deputy Commissioner of West Garo Hills has ordered that wine shops, bars and bonded warehouses located in Hallidayganj, Rajabala, Phulbari, Tikrikilla, Chibinang, Zekabari, Putamati, Rongsai and all the areas in the district of West Garo Hills bordering Assam be closed from April 4 to 6.
